Work gloves from STANLEY, a highly popular tool brand in the US.
This was a popular model in the US and overseas at the time, but it was never released in Japan and is now a discontinued model.
In Japan, you can probably only get thin cotton work gloves or mechanic gloves.
Shipping from Amazon overseas to Japan would cost close to 10,000 yen at the current exchange rate.
Palm is reinforced goatskin.
Back of hand is spandex.
5mm thick rubber protector from index finger to thumb on both hands.
Wrist closure with logoed velcro.
As the name suggests, these gloves are designed to protect your hands when using a hammer, but they would also be useful for outdoor and camping work.

Actual flat measurements: Palm width 10.5 cm, Total length 22.5 cm (approx.)
In terms of fit, I think these would be best for someone with a palm width of about 8 to 9.5 cm.
Mine is just under 8 cm, and they are a bit large.
