This product uses fin whales caught in Iceland.

Most of our whale products use minke whales, which are about 6-7 meters long. However, fin whales are very large, about 20 meters long, and offer a tender texture and unique flavor characteristic of large whales.
The Yamato-ni (simmered in soy sauce) is seasoned with a sweet and savory blend of soy sauce, ginger, and sugar.
This is a popular way to prepare whale meat, and it is enjoyed by people of all ages.
